Seattle – We drove 50 minutes into the mountains, where fog mysteriously nestled among the evergreen, pine and spruce trees. We arrived at Salish Lodge & Spa, an 86-room resort built on Snoqualmie Falls, a sacred waterfall and surrounding forest.

Seattle – The persistent sprinkle from grey clouds did not dampen our excitement to visit Pike Place, one of the oldest public markets in the country. We selected the Inn at the Market, the only local hotel in the area.
