Braces Month 4: My Teeth Are Already Straighter

Well, I’ve had my braces on for a quarter of a year now, and to tell you the truth, my front teeth are rapidly shifting.

I’ve had to use the special gel to protect my cheeks from chaffing against the brackets only twice – both times were after a beauty expo where I was talking for over five hours at a time. Here is a picture of me at a work party in South Bay, an area of Los Angeles County that I never get to. Braces are a little uncomfortable. It’s awkward to smile sometimes, but it will all be worth it in the end. The real jaw work with rubber bands will begin in a few months…*gulp*
